Niwaki Kenzan

Traditionally designed for ikebana flower displays, our authentic Japanese Kenzans or 'frogs', are a reusable alternative to the despicable flower foam.  

Keeping stems in place at the desired angle, either visible or discreetly hidden in the bottom of a vase, these sturdy weighted Kenzans can hold up most stems, woody material as well as soft foliage and grasses if prepared correctly. Make criss cross cuts in the bottom of larger twigs to stick them in more easily. Lower into water in our Ikebana Bowl or drop into any of our vases, top up water daily.
