Our Senior Florist & Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Naum Flower business and its supporting team. This role involves overseeing all operational aspects of a creative, sustainability-focused floristry business, with responsibilities ranging from innovating solutions to enhance profitability, to budgeting and anticipating P&L for our various revenue streams, liaising directly with key clients and developing proposals and briefs.
Key duties include helping to develop new business opportunities, serving as project manager on more complex projects, acting as key liaison with certain clients, insuring we adhere to our brand aesthetics and ethos, managing quality control and logistics, handling administrative tasks in collaboration with the team (such as quotations, invoicing, and expenses). The role includes doing floristry work as needed with regular support from our trusted freelancers.
We need a dynamic people person who loves working with florists and freelancers, as well as other members of our growing team, bringing them on board, training them up, leading weekly team meetings and maintaining up-to-date contracts. Other elements include foraging and related planning, producing workshops, looking after our workspace, keeping equipment up to standard across our spaces and vehicles, documenting work for marketing purposes, and creating clear internal documents and handbooks.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a floristry business with strong supporting knowledge, be highly proficient with computers (including Excel formulas, social media, Apple devices, and basic photography equipment), and hold a UK manual driving licence, with the ability to drive the business van as needed. They should be exceptionally organised, responsible, and take pride in their work, with excellent communication skills and the ability to support and guide others. A flexible approach to working hours - including early mornings, evenings, and weekends is essential.

The Head Grower is a hands-on gardening and management role focused on the production of cut flowers and foliage. This talented plantsperson will oversee and attend to the day-to-day needs of our cut flower production within the grounds of a historic estate, working closely with the Operations Manager and floristry team at Naum Flower.
Responsibilities are to garden and manage all aspects of the cutting garden – including maintenance, propagation, planting, pruning, staking, weeding, picking - ensuring that our produce keeps to our existing high standards. This role also includes working with the team to create annual planting plans, reflecting on each season to move forward to the next. The role also involves sourcing crops, adhering to organic and regenerative no-dig or minimum-till systems, composting, and sustainable practices such as rotational planning, use of green manures, implementation of new infrastructure as needed with requisite budgeting, quoting etc.
The Head Grower must have extensive hands on experience with productive gardens and cut flowers, knowledge of species and what they need relative to the vagaries of the weather and seasonal flow. The productive gardens must generate blooms through all periods of the season and each year strategic analysis and evaluation of what has performed well - both in the garden and the vase.
Candidates must have at least 3 years’ experience growing cut flowers in a productive garden, with strong seasonal planning and species-specific planting knowledge, refined management skills, and experience in glasshouse and polytunnel production. A creative and visual eye is essential, along with the can do attitude and hard grafter's ability to work in all weather and plan around soil health and picking schedules. Applicants must hold a full UK manual driving licence and be comfortable regularly driving the business van. The role requires someone who is highly organised, responsible, positive, a strong communicator, and flexible with working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
